Overwritten and Boring (Rating 1 of 5)
This textbook is overwritten and boring. The writers use way too much reference to Shakesphere and to authors of books no normal person would ever even consider reading. What a waste! You can read a whole chapter and not remember what you read. Too many big words confuse the reader. You need a dictionary next to you to understand what they are trying to get across, and then...good luck with that. The class I am taking is a level entry BAS degree course, and is also an internet class. Most students in this class are police officers and firefighter paramedics (normal people, who use normal terminology). Most of us agree that this one is not worth the price. It will not receive high ratings on our final review of the course. Without a professor standing at the front of the class interpreting the book, there was no possible way to understand the info. It is hard to believe that anybody could write a book of fourteen chapters of blah, blah, blah!
