Heart gripping suspense. (Rating 5 of 5)
It is hard to believe that Good Will Win in the End was a first novel for this author. Olsen manages to fill the pages with poignancy, romance, political chicanery and down home politics. I look forward to seeing more from him in the near future.
What really caught my attention from the beginning was Jolene, the leading lady of Good Will Win in the End. She's as extroverted as they get, a bit rough around the edges, but also intelligent, warm hearted and very creative. Jo stole the show from the first page that her name appeared on. Jo is quite a lady and carries the novel along very well.
